Bransdale View show home opens for viewing
The first visitors have taken a look at a new housing and care scheme in Helmsley. Bransdale View, was built by Housing & Care 21 in partnership with Ryedale District Council and North Yorkshire County Council. It has been designed to offer independent living for people over the age of 55 with access to on-site care for those who need it.
The official opening of the show home on Ashwood Close was held with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Jim Bailey, Chair of North Yorkshire Parks Authority.
Following the launch of the show home, Bransdale View is now open for viewings by appointment. For every appointment made, Housing & Care 21 will donate £1 to the Helmsley Christmas lights fund to ensure another lights switch on event in 2019.
Upon opening, the Court will offer 64 one and two bedroom apartments, with three for outright sale, 40 for rent and 21 for shared ownership.
The Court will offer residents a range of services and facilities including a 24 hour, on-site care team for those who need it, a bistro, hair salon and picturesque landscaped gardens.
The site has been funded by Housing & Care 21, together with Ryedale District Council, North Yorkshire Council and Homes England (formerly the Homes & Communities Agency) and constructed by energy and regeneration specialist ENGIE.
