Hundreds take part in Macmillan coffee morning

Hundreds of our residents and staff took part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

More than 50 of our schemes held coffee mornings for the annual event on Friday 25 September.

Macmillan Cancer Support is our official charity partner and we have now raised over £60,000 for the organisation since 2013.

Bruce Moore, our chief executive, said: “We are delighted so many of our residents and staff took part in this event to help raise money for such a worthy cause.

“It is telling of the community spirit that exists at the courts that so many people got involved.

“This is just another example of the tremendous amount of effort which has been put in by staff and residents to support Macmillan Cancer Support since the organisation became our official charity partner.”

Macmillan’s ‎regional corporate account manager, Rhys Parker, said: “We are thrilled with the success of the partnership and we would like to thank Housing & Care 21 for choosing us to support us.”
