Residents enjoy festive fun at newly revamped court
Residents enjoyed a festive open day at a newly revamped retirement housing scheme in Loughborough.
The free event was on Tuesday December 15 at Sir Robert Martin Court, a complex of retirement apartments in the town which we own and manage.
The Deputy Mayor of Charnwood, Councillor David Gaskell, cut the ribbon on the court’s newly revamped communal room, which cost thousands and features brand new decor and furniture. The event featured free festive refreshments and entertainment.
Court manager, Martine Wilson, said: “This was a fantastic event and it was great to welcome people to join our residents and enjoy the community spirit we have here.
“We are really proud of our new common room and we wanted everyone to have the chance to enjoy it, socialise and enjoy some festive refreshments.”
Sir Robert Martin Court consists of 40 one-bedroom affordable retirement apartments available at affordable rent for over 55s. On-site facilities also include a laundry room, guest room facilities and communal gardens. Residents take part in regular social activities.
