Warwick tender success for Housing 21

Housing 21's  tender submission for the provision of 46 extra care apartments in Warwick has been successful.

Part of Warwickshire County Council’s plan to develop 1000 extra care units over the next 5 years, the 46 unit development will be the first extra care scheme in Warwick.

As the development will not require a grant from the Home and Communities Agency, planning will be submitted immediately reducing the overall development timescale.

David O’Neill, Head of New Business and Sales commented:

“This is the latest success for us in an ongoing relationship with Warwickshire County Council. Traditionally, this type of accommodation is part funded, but for this development we aren't reliant on a grant, significantly reducing our development timescales. We are looking forward to starting work early next year on providing much needed quality accommodation for older people in Warwick".
